About Taran
From Brampton, for Brampton
Brampton has been home for 30 years. Taran is running to be a councillor who listens, follows through, and gets things done.
Brampton is home.
Brampton has been my home for 30 years. I've lived and worked here, met my wife here, and built my life in this community. I'm running because I want the city my family calls home to be a place where people feel safe, services work, and families have opportunities to build their future.
Every dollar counts.
As a CPA with public and private-sector experience, I've learned to study the numbers, ask tough questions, and make every dollar count. That includes an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and years in finance before coming home to work with the City of Brampton.
Follow through.
Working with the City gave me a firsthand understanding of how City Hall works. I know how to navigate City processes, connect residents with the right people, and follow through when an issue needs attention. I'm running to bring that experience home.
Brampton-made
I love this city. I've spent years serving this community, and I'm ready to serve it in a new way.
